The Medical Clinics in Maria Wörth and Altaussee received the Signum Virtutis, the seal of approval for the “Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards.” Maria Wörth was awarded “Best Medical Resort” and Altaussee “Medical Wellness & Longevity.” Both VIVAMAYR clinics hold the enviable status as international leaders in medical wellness resorts.

The “Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards” were created to reward the cream of the crop. The “Signum Virtutis” seal of approval is a quality benchmark in the luxury industry and one of the highest honors in top-class hospitality and luxury lifestyles.

VIVAMAYR was honored for the 4th consecutive time in 2019. The award ceremony took place this year at Lake Vouliagmeni in Athens with a top-class jury of executives and experts from the industry’s elite. The awards ceremony first began seven years ago.

“The awards confirm that we are putting the right focus on our holistic approach and the medical expertise of our teams in both houses. This award is a very important seal of approval for our international guests. It is a great honor for us to win again in 2019,” said Barbara Schloyer, Global Head of Marketing and Communication at VIVAMAYR, who personally accepted the awards in Athens.

The award is already the second this year. In July, VIVAMAYR won two awards at the “World Luxury Spa & Restaurant Awards” in St. Petersburg. VIVAMAYR Maria Wörth was awarded the prize in the “Luxury Medical Spa Austria” category, while VIVAMAYR Altaussee was awarded the “Luxury Medical Spa Europe” category.
